The event was held at the Paradise Pines POA courtyard with members of Cal Fire, California Hope and Camp Fire Spiritual and Emotional Wellness Group providing help with labor and support. 4 Leaf helped to pay for food which added to the potluck dishes which residents brought to share with their neighbors. The CMA Church in Paradise provided a block party trailer which included tables, chairs, games for the kids and a bounce house, while the memories were preserved with a photo booth provided by C & C Photobooth.
This event was the first time the neighbors had an opportunity to gather together since the fire. While there are many plans by government agencies to address emergency preparedness-which will take a very long time-coming together as a community can be done now, successfully.
The Camp Fire Zone Project is looking for additional zone captains, if you are interested in getting additional information or would like to get involved please visit their website at www.campfirezoneproject.com.
